THE ROYAL WEDDING SONG
(adapted from Psalm 45)
by Psalmsinger
Beautiful words fill my mind as I write this song for the King!
With the pen of a writer, my tongue is ready
With a poem for the King!
Your arrows are sharp as they pierce
through the hearts of your enemies.
Your power is great!
Nations fall down under your feet!
The kingdom that God has given you
Lasts forever and ever!
You rule with justice over your people.
You love what is right.
You hate what is evil.
And that is why the Lord your God has chosen you.
And poured out His happiness upon you;
More than any other king.

Enter the Gates
Put on your sword, oh mighty king
For you are glorious and majestic!
Ride on! Ride on!
Ride on in majesty to victory!
To victory!
To victory!
For the defense of truth.
For the defense of justice.
Your strength will gain you great victory!

The Wedding
The princess is in the palace.
How beautiful she is!
Her gown is made with golden thread.
In her colorful gown she is led before the King.
Followed by her bridesmaids,
They are also brought to him.
With joy and gladness the come and enter in,
The palace of the King.
And you my bride will have many sons
To succeed your ancestors as kings.
And your sons will reign over all the earth.

The Palace of the King
And men will praise you for all time to come
And men will praise you for all time to come
And men will praise you for all time to come
In the palace of the King
And men will praise you for all time to come
And men will praise you for all time to come
And men will praise you for all time to come
In the palace of the King
Worthy! Worthy! Worthy is our King
Worthy! Worthy! Worthy to receive
Blessing and honor, glory and praise!
Worthy! Worthy! Worthy is the Lamb!
Worthy! Worthy! Worthy is the Lamb!
Worthy of our praise!
And men will praise you for all time to come
And men will praise you for all time to come
And men will praise you for all time to come
In the palace of the King
