Answer me Lord when I call.

Oh Lord, you are my hiding place.

You have relieved me;

Calmed my heart in all my distress.

I know that you have called me by name,

And you hear me when I call

How long will people put me down?

How long will they love what is worthless?

How long, will they go after the lie?

How much longer? How Long?

Oh Lord, you are my hiding place

When I lie down, I can sleep in peace

You alone, Oh Lord, keep me safe

I know that you have called me by name

And you hear me when I call

How much longer will you forget me Lord?

How long must I wrestle with these same dark thoughts?

And How much longer will this sorrow fill my heart?

How much longer? How long?

I rely on your constant love

I know you will rescue me
