One
last observation from these verses, and one of vital importance is that
no matter where we come from, we are all part of the same body.
It does not matter what our religious affiliation is.
It does not matter whether we are rich or poor.
It does not matter if we have a low paying job or not.
Social standing means nothing.
We are all one, made to drink of the same Spirit of the living
God. Christ is the Head,
and all men are equal down at the cross! We are a single body, each part of that body linked and totally dependant on the others. We have been a body divided long enough! There is nothing we can do better separately than we can do together. Will we be a body healthy and whole? Or will we be a body of hurting units? It really is our choice! Or is it? |
