From Hurting To Rejoicing

(1 Corinthians 12:26)

As Plato said "the body politic “feels the hurt” as the whole body feels a hurt finger." (Republic, V, 462)  We all see the pain.  Jesus sees the pain.  We experience that pain in many ways within the body of believers.    True, if one suffers, we all feel it.  If one is honored, (literally glorified) then we all feel that as well.

Giver and Exhorter Example:

The Giver and Exhorter were both not operating in their gifts, but when one began to look out for the other, there was great good that came of it.  Can you think of other examples of how this can work in the Body of Christ to get us from the place of Hurting Units to a Healthy Body?  How can you see this working in your church or Care Group?
