The fact is, we all need one another.  There is no getting around it.  Even before coming to the Word of God, thee is something about the human condition that forces us to admit to the need for community and fellowship.

There is also something else that we need to admit.  We tend to mess it up.  When we come to the place of loneliness, disappointment, brokenness, wounded ness and despair, its too easy to throw our hands up and cry "I DON'T NEED THIS!" But even in that moment of catharsis, we are faced with the inescapable truth.  We need each other.  It's just the way we are put together.

We are made in the image of God, and God is a community himself.  When he created man He said, "Let US make man in OUR image  and OUR likeness."  Without getting into the discussion of the triune nature of God at this point, we can see that as His creation, we are made by a relational, personal being.  Each and every one of us has the imprint of the divine touch of the Master Creator.

In the passage we are looking at (1 Corinthians 12:14-31), Pay close attention to Paul's language.  We all need each other.  And that's the truth.
